Our History
The firm can trace its origins back to 1895 when Frank Raymond accepted the agency for the Royal Insurance company in South Canterbury.
1906 Frank took up partnership with William Revell, however this partnership ended upon William Revell's death in a car accident.
1930 Frank's son, Mick Raymond, took over the business upon his fathers death.
1954 Mick passed on, the business was temporarily run by Isa Young until it was sold to Jack Bailey.
1966 Jack Bailey was joined by John Campbell in partnership.
1968 Richard Bishop joined the partnership.
1978 Jack Bailey retired and Russell Dockrill came in as new partner.
1982 John Campbell retired from the partnership.
1989 Tony McCleary joined Richard and Russell in the partnership.
1995 Richard Bishop retired.
2001 Dean Mitchell joined Russell and Tony in the partnership.
2003 Russell Dockrill retired from the partnership.
2021 Tony McCleary retired from the partnership. Dean Mitchell formed Mitchell Business Advisors Limited to continue the practice.
